Meet Our Initiator

Simon Roy DS
I am the Initiator and Creative Director of Nadigan Daa, a theatre collective I established in 2021 with a vision to build a powerful and sustainable creative ecosystem.
What started as a three-member team has grown under my leadership into a thriving creative community of over 115+ members.
Through Nadigan Daa, I have trained performers across schools, colleges, and corporate environments, focusing on acting, storytelling, stagecraft, and performance psychology.
My goal is to create meaningful stories, nurture original talent, and build a strong cultural movement driven by disciplined artistic excellence.
Our Co-Initiator

Prabakaran
A Chennai-based actor and theatre artist with a foundation built on the high-energy stages of inter-collegiate culturals and refined through diverse screen projects.
From the raw emotion of independent short films to the rhythmic storytelling of album songs, he brings a disciplined yet adaptive presence to every frame.
As a co-initiator of Nadigan Daa, he doesn't just play a role — he helps build the vision, contributing to the ensemble's success both on stage and behind the scenes.
Our Core Members

Suchitra K
A passionate and dedicated theatre artist at Nadigan Daa with a strong foundation in stage acting, she actively contributes to both the creative and administrative aspects of the team.
She manages monthly contributions, maintains transparent financial records, and handles ticketing and financial coordination for Nadigan Daa productions.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree and currently works as an Assistant Manager at EY GDS.
Alongside her professional career, she continues to contribute to theatre through acting, writing, directing, and organizational responsibilities.

Charles
Charles is a theatre artist with over 50 prizes to his name — from shipwreck to mimicry, a resume that reads more like a festival schedule.
He was crowned Mr. Shristi at Ethiraj and was recognised as Emerging Talent of 2019 from Loyola College.
While academics kept him disciplined, theatre kept him relevant — and that balance took him to ICICI Bank as a Credit Manager, where communication mattered as much as calculation.
Currently, Charles serves as one of the core members of Nadigan Daa, actively using theatre for social engagement through performances at old age homes, orphanages, and colleges.
Alongside this, he continues writing original scripts and developing his voice as a director, including his work as writer and actor of the acclaimed play 'Genie yum Naanum'.

Anu Srinivasan V
A passionate theatre performer and proud member of Nadigan Daa Theatre Club, bringing life to the stage through diverse roles and compelling storytelling.
With a background in commerce and management, he has also actively participated and won awards in inter-collegiate cultural events.
He has showcased versatility as both a performer and creator across formats like Channel Surfing, Mime, and Adzap.

Keerthana Priya
A proud member of Nadigan Daa for the past one year, having participated in 100+ cultural events across various colleges, gaining valuable performance experience.
Worked as an Assistant Director in a play and acted in multiple theatre productions, while seamlessly handling sound engineering and emcee duties.
Currently pursuing an MBA while actively continuing her deep-rooted passion for theatrical performance.

Abhhay Krishna D
A B.A. English Literature graduate whose talents span across being a Poet, Rapper, Actor, and Director.
He has been with Nadigan Daa for the past year and a half, actively performing in almost every major event since joining the collective.
Currently pursuing his M.A. in English at Madras University while simultaneously working as a dedicated Theatre Instructor at Sparks and Chuckles.

Soosai Antony James B
A core member of Nadigan Daa for over two years, evolving dynamically as a performer, trainer, director, scriptwriter, and leader within the community.
He trains aspiring artists in Mime, Street Play, and LCA, focusing intensely on expression, body language, emotional depth, and stage discipline.
Currently serves as the Community Coordinator, overseeing team coordination, creative planning, and executing the community's developmental vision.
Proving to be a versatile performer, he seamlessly adapts his acting style to suit both robust stage projection and nuanced cinematic camera deliveries.
